How to report copyright-infringing content and how we act on notices.

Upplio AI respects intellectual-property rights and expects users to do the same. This policy describes how to report content that you believe infringes your copyright, in line with the Copyright Act, 1957 (India) and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines) Rules, 2021, and reflecting principles of the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA") for cross-border complainants.

1. Notice Requirements

A copyright complaint must be in writing (email acceptable) and include:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed;
  • Identification of the allegedly infringing material with sufficient detail (URL) to locate it;
  • Your contact information (name, address, phone, email);
  • A statement of good-faith belief that the use is not authorised;
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the rights-holder or authorised to act on their behalf;
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

2. Submission

Send notices to customerservice@upplioai.com with subject line "Copyright Complaint".

3. Counter-Notice

If your content was removed and you believe it was in error, you may submit a counter-notice with equivalent identifying information and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you consent to jurisdiction of courts in Bengaluru, India.

4. Repeat Infringers

We will terminate accounts of users determined, in appropriate circumstances, to be repeat infringers.

5. Misrepresentation

Knowingly false notices or counter-notices may result in liability for damages and legal fees.

Amendments

Upplio AI may amend this document from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app notice at least fourteen (14) days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the amended terms.
