1. Transparency
We disclose that AI is used to generate outputs, name our current AI providers in the AI Disclosure, and describe what data is sent to them.
2. Fairness and Bias Reduction
We select AI providers and design prompts to reduce demographic and role-based bias. We test outputs against representative resumes and interview scenarios and iterate when bias is observed.
3. Accountability
Upplio AI retains ultimate responsibility for AI features it operates, including product design decisions, guardrails and user communications.
4. Privacy
AI processing occurs only for user-requested purposes. Providers are contractually restricted from training their foundation models on User Content.
5. Human Oversight
AI Output is decision-support, not decision-making. Users are required to review AI Output before relying on it or sharing it externally.
6. Explainability
Where feasible, we provide rationale for scores and suggestions (e.g., which keywords influenced an ATS score).
7. Safety
We implement content filters and abuse-prevention controls to reduce the risk of harmful outputs.
8. Responsible AI Roadmap
We commit to periodically reviewing this policy against emerging Indian AI regulation (including forthcoming DPDP Rules, MeitY guidance, and Digital India Act developments) and international frameworks such as the EU AI Act and NIST AI RMF.
Legal review: Update this policy following notification of Indian AI-specific regulation and any adoption of the Digital India Act.
Amendments
Upplio AI may amend this document from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app notice at least fourteen (14) days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the amended terms.
