Dates are the most-scanned, least-thought-about part of your resume.
Do this today
- Pick MMM YYYY (Jan 2024) and stick with it everywhere
- Always include both start and end dates
- For current roles use "Present"
- Don't pad month-long stints into year ranges — recruiters check
