Surviving the Full-Day Onsite (Without Crashing by Round 4)

Endurance is a skill. Train it.

5-round onsites are won by candidates who pace themselves. Energy at round 5 is a feature, not luck.

Step-by-step

  1. Sleep 8 hours the night before — non-negotiable
  2. Eat a real breakfast with protein, not just coffee
  3. Reset between rounds (2 minutes of slow breathing, water, stretch)
  4. Keep notes between rounds so you don't repeat stories
  5. Save your highest-energy story for round 4 or 5

Treat the onsite like a marathon, not five sprints. Train the in-between as much as the rounds.
